Experience with Fender Player Jaguar

I was looking to get a rather lovely Player P bass in buttercream but then I saw the Jaguar model which I've never really paid attention to. Has anyone had experience with one?

Jazz neck, p/j setup, worse balance than a jazz or p. But looks cool.

Pretty much this...I had one and sold it due to some balance issues and the extremely thin jazz-ish neck. It was thinner than a jazz neck and I just couldn't get on with it.

Sounded pretty fine though, but it had the classic PJ problem - jazz pup was mostly useless unless fully dimed along with the P.

There is that, but I was sticking to the Jaguar vibe on the thread!

I'm trying to stay away from another P but my god does it look beautiful with the black pick guard.
