Tech 21 midi mongoose with Helix Stomp and Future Impact

Hi,

Anyone any first hand experience with this midi controller?

I wondered if this is capable of changing presets in the Helix Stomp and the Future impact at the same time.

The MIDI Mongoose (I have one) will happily change presets but it can not send CC messages (Which for example could switch on or off individual effects in a chain) - I've not tried the F.I with it, but I suspect it will be the same for that too: Patch changes handled easily.

If you are happy with just preset changes, well, I've actually got a boxed MIDI Moose here (for sale on BC) that I've been meaning to pass on!  PM me if you are interested.

You can use the Midi Mongoose with an expression pedal for certain CC messages but it will depend on the device. It's not set up to be a full featured controller like the Voodoo Labs Ground Control etc.

Its safe to say it is brilliant though and my Mongoose is staying put. The MIDI Moose hasn't had a look in since I got the Mongoose!
