If it has a maple neck and it’s bright red then anodised gold. Don’t know why fender stopped making aluminium ones, much nicer than plastic. Good gob g&l did them for a while but again they stopped too?!

What can I say? I have a weakness for red basses. And black basses 

 

Quite like sunburst too.

Salmon pink. 

 

 

 

 

 

Gold is a favourite too

Both are lovely, but, but... those horrid anemic fingerboards! Whatever happened to make them turn yellow?
