silverfoxnik
OK first post on basschat (i usually go on Talkbass.com the US version of basschat) i have a Zoom B1 multi effects pedal and no one over in the US seems to have one. i just wanted to know what settings people have on this pedal? thats all. Bass_Junkie
Hi Bass_Junkie, Is this link of any use: http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/download/dem...mo_b2series.php It has some soundclips that are quite good as reference points. I use the B2 1.u now but had the B2 beforehand and found myself using the pre-amp settings mostly. In particular, the tube pre-amp is really useful.. But lots of the other effects are excellent, depending on what you're doing. The auto-wah is one I've used but I tend to use the factory setting as it does the job nicely! Hope that helps, Nik
Bass_Junkie
Hi Bass_Junkie, Is this link of any use: http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/download/dem...mo_b2series.php
sadly not, i was more looking for combinations of the effects that have beee put to some good use, like i found the other day a synth and wah can be combined to make some good sounds. cheddatom
I have the B2.1U I use the "distortion" patch I think, with very low gain setting for a nice OD sound. Then I copy this to most of my patches, and play with the phaser, wah, delay, and synth. Two particular patches I always use at gigs are OD>pedal wah>delay and OD>Phaser. Obviously, i'm not using the right names for the Zoom modules, but...... My main peice of advice would be to play with it yourself. You're obviously getting used to practicing with changing the sounds and making new ones, just keep doing that and you'll end up knowing the sound you're after, and knowing how to get that sound.
