TOTP 2 Pino with Dollar?

Was that Pino miming along with Dollar on "Mirror mirror" on tonight's TOTP2?

The guy was 7 feet tall, 2 inches wide and playing a natural stingray

I thought the bass was pretty good on the Dollar stuff and it's always nice to see "celebrities" when they still were..
.. I assumed it was a synth but I liked the dynamics on the rekkerd ..

That's quite possibly true but the 'extreme awfulness', as i saw it, of the the whole thing prevented me from noticing there even was a bass on it.

One of if not the most impressive things I have ever heard is that after the Ox bought the farm whilst out his tits on drugs, Pino played with the Who in Las Vegas 4 days later.

Assuming that there was chaos for at least a day after this, he had maybe 2 or 3 days at the most to learn the Who's set.

I had the Fortune of playing for bucks fizz while david van day was with them, we played a few of dollars hits and didnt realise it may have been pino on those tracks, some lovely lines that i had to sight read needless to say i sh*t myself but it was fine and bobby and david were pleased, but yes David van day is the most irritating peson ive ever met and has a face you want to smack.
The moral of this story Pino is the man and made everything he played on sound great ( not sure if it was actually pino on the dollar records though , id never heard of them before i playedthem).

I take that back Just watched the PY clip (sound up) I didn't realise that Pino ever had that much 'big hair' I thought he tended to keep it close cropped.

The early Dollar songs were only hits because Trevor Horn weaved hs magic on them. I always assumed that being a bass player, Trevor Horn had played on them.
