shadven
I forgot I volunteered my band to participate in a Broadway Tribute Show with about 6 local bands. Big venue, full production and the radio station putting this on promotes like mad and it will probably sell-out. I need suggestions for a 1/2 hour set. I can choose songs from any shows I want. I need help!! My band is pretty good and we can make almost anything work. We are roots rock, Americana, outlaw country, classic rock. Two strong male vocalists. I could add a female singer if I need to, but I prefer not to. Two guitars, bass, drums, all strong players. I want cool dramatic songs that don’t require a lot of orchestration. I need 5 or 6 songs. Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Rocky Horror, Grease, Little Shop/Horrors? I am not opposed to taking a completely different genre and making it our own. I need good songs, please help Heaven On There Minds - from Jesus Christ Superstar.

casapete
This one from 'Hair' could be done in a different way and still work I think. Ignore the arrangement, think of a more rock thing. Great song.
lowdown
America from 'West Side Story'... Can easily be arranged for a rock band. 'The Nice' did a version years ago (although that was keyboard heavy). You have two vocalists, I'm sure they can manage it. Doesn't matter what style/genre the tunes are arranged for, anything from West Side Story is always a winner.
