Genuine Fender JV??

There's an ad on Gumtree for a mid 80s Japanese Jazz - s/n c026274 - is this a (generally hard to find) genuine JV??

That would put it around 1986 and too late to be a JV or the silver series that followed.

No, then it would have a serial number starting with JV.

A Fujigen-made C series for £430, maybe a bit less with a haggle? If I needed a Jazz and I was local I'd certainly pop round and have a look at it.

The serial number is not JV, so... no.
