Hi from Pookus

Hi bass comrades!
I have joined this forum primarily to get some advice. I am a 41 year old bassist (I have been playing bass guitar since I was 13 and double bass for about 10 years). I am entirely self taught and pretty nifty on bass guitar - but I need more help on double bass. I am really getting into playing more double bass. As someone who plays in a band where most of our stuff comes out of improvisation - I am now developing a real interest in modal jazz. I live in Kent. Is there anyone out there who can offer 1-2-1 tuition? Thanks in advance.

I'm Dan, 16 and have only been playing for 2 years so probably can't give as much advice as I'd receive!!
I'm only new to this forum anyway, but welcome nevertheless!!

Yeah thanks for that. I have posted there too. I may have found a couple of possibilities - one from this site and another from elsewhere. Its all good. Thanks for your help.
