Encore E83 Bass

For some reason i am looking at buying this Encore E83 bass,i remember in the late 80's early 90's that these were not bad.They had an ash body my idea is to put another neck on it,and better pickups,is this worth buying it's going for £79.

I think that's a lot for what would basically amount to a secondhand P copy body once you swap neck & pups. I think you'd probably pick up a project P body for a lot less than that, either on here or Fleabay.
