Hi, is this a Series I or II?
Yep saddo from Thailand here again (excuse is its tropical rain today and can't go out of hotel)

Answer is dunno - will let you know when back in UK week after next - Nick "Old Horse Murphy" will know though as he used to own it if you need a quick answer

FYI, another BCer has already PMed and - in the interest of fairness - has first dibs

Cheers Clarky

Cheers, Thailand in the rain has got to be better than Manchester in pretty much any weather. No probs on the cab designation - just an idle query (I suspect its a Series I - the 'II's haven't been around too long). I was thinking it would pair nicely with my existing Series I but on reflection, it'd be serious overkill. Enjoy the rest of the break!

Back from holiday ( :) ) bump

Forgot to say that comes with custom made cover

Have checked over the cab back plate and there is nothing to indicate whether its a Series 1 or 2, I'm afraid (maybe former owner Old Horse Murphy knows?) All I can say is I have owned it only for a few months, that its in fantastic nick and that it looks pretty damn new to me

NB, cash only please, no trades - am happy with Markbass rig and (on order) Hartke back-up head
Welcome back Clarky :)

It's one of the last Series 1 Cabs and was bought brand new from the Bass Gallery early last year some time.

I hope this helps
Thanks Nick

Its great to be back. Was mucking around on a beach on Friday in 80-plus degree heat .... the pilot on the flight back said "the temperature at London Gatwick this morning is -7 degrees". Bloody great!

I had the same thing coming back from Australia! Came back from 30 odd degrees Celsius to -4 :)

Can you tell me the weight please?

Thanks

James

Hi there, weight is 47 pounds (specs at bottom of this reply)

3 x 16-ohm speakers in parallel gives the odd-sounding 5.3-ohms rating. AFAIA this does not preclude it working with standard heads. There's a whole BC thread on this (http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21987) a quote from which (from cab specialist alexclaber says) "5.3 ohms is a perfectly sensible nominal impedance for a cab, treat it as a 4 ohm cab that's a little easier on the amp."

From Epifani website:

Another Epifani innovation, this latest edition to the Epifani line is quickly becoming an industry favorite. Designed by Nick Epifani with the help of legendary bassist Lincoln Goines, the UL-310 combines the size and weight of a 210 with the power of a 410. Easily carried in one hand, the UL-310 is a favorite among musician's who enjoy making 1 trip from their car into the gig.

Speaker: 3 x 250w RMS Cast Aluminum Frame
100w RMS Tweeter
Freq Response: 40hz - 16khz
Power Rating: 750w RMS (1800w Peak)
5.3 Ohms
Suggested Wattage: 200w - 1000w
Sensitivity: 103db SPL @ 1w 1m
Recessed Handles
Dimensions: 23" H x 21.5" W x 16.5 " D
47 lbs.
BUMP - still available, not quite what visiting BCer was after (wanted something a little smaller in dimensions)
that was me - thanks for letting me come around to see/hear it last night Clarky - it was a great sounding cab, and I was really very torn about whether i should take it or not. just a shame it was a little bigger than what I think I need. I'm sure whoever the new owner is will be very happy with it.

cheers

No worries Gwilym, was great to meet you and to have a brief twang on your stupendous 5-string F bass. Hope you find what you're after (Schroeder?)
