Getting an amp fixed.

I have a Custom Groove Bass 1200 amp head. The volume and gain pots are very scratchy. I can't get to them to clean them and am wondering if anyone knows of repairer over in Wales.

I used a bloke who sounds a little bit like Liam Neeson - Music Repair Services in Porthcawl.

I’ve heard that there’s a very good amp & guitar tech in Gorseinon, Swansea too - Wyn something.  I’ll get his number if you want.

Just been through the exact same issue in Kent / SE London. Found a place in Guildford - but my point is it would be a great database for the forum: amp techs and guitar/bass techs by area.

Would be a good idea.  I would use any one of three in southeast Essex.

 https://www.leightonsguitarshop.com/ - Leighton Jennings is even nearer in Leigh-on-Sea, plus he does instrument set-ups/mods as well as custom amp and guitar builds.
