Shipping over the Channel

I need to find out how much it would cost to ship a bass from the UK to France, who's best in regards to price, insurance and service.

150 quid with Fedex, overnight delivery to France. They're not the cheapest, but they're super quick and they offer damn good service. I even got friendly with the local collection bod!

I think Bassoctopuss shipped a bass to France, may be worth a quick PM.

One small word of warning... I used to do a lot of small item eBay stuff (not bass related) and I'd say that half of the transaction that involved postage to France had issues with delivery (only place worse was Italy). I always got proof of postage when I sent stuff so I was always covered when challenged but honestly their local delivery services must be shyt. So I'd say don't skimp on insurance and ensure that the service selected includes musical instruments.
