Viajero Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Surely somewhere we cold have a list of internet equipment shops we collectively recommend? I'm sure we've all found useful continental websites that offer gear at lower prices han one can find in the UK, and it'd be great to have a decent list to work from when seeking out the cheapest price possible when you're GASing. It'd be a hell of a lot better than trawling Google without any idea whether the site you've found is kosher or not. Quote
Dood Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Errrmm we have a new Wiki already and each forum has stickys that include recommended repairers/luthiers etc! With ref to 'cheapest prices on the web' stickys, that'd be hard to manage with so many outlets on the web changing their prices and stock so often. You could pay me to do the job full time if you like lol lol! Quote
Viajero Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 I could do, but given as I don't have a job myself I think I'll pass for now. Anyway, that's not quite what I mean. I was just thinking of a list of online shops: basscentre.com, thomann.de/gb, etc etc etc. This is mainly prompted by having lost all my favourites in Firefox recently, and therefore not being able to find shops I've browsed in the past. Just thought it might be useful. Quote

Sugden Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 You should always trust a man who knows where his towel is. Quote
