I didn't think I had bought much, but on reflection, there was an Ibanez GB200, which didn't last long and was traded back for a Hartke Transporter 4x10 cab (which has done sterling service), a Zoom H4 which has come in very handy, and my MIM Precision (from Platypus) which has turned out to be a cracker.

That's a very good question!! Well, having a think it looks like this for the year, give or take a few bits or pieces:

Overall, it's been a year of more stuff going out than coming in and I'm happier that way as I'm slowly paring my gear down to suff I really like and stuff I really need and/or use.

I have experimented with playing fretless this year and didn't get very far, mainly because I didn't give it the time it requires. And I also experimented with amps that have a valve and solid state pre-amp stage, but have gone back to solid-state amps and am quite happy with that (though I could be persuaded otherwise I expect...).

Hopefully next year will be a similar trend with much less coming in, though I would like another 210 cab I think. No doubt there'll be a least one major GAS attack during the year but some electric-shock therapy should sort that out!

Not enough time (or room) for my gear action I'm afraid, but a brief overview suggests:

More kit in than out
More fretless than fretted action, although I'm still crap at fretless. Then again, I'm crap at fretted.
Valves have crept in, albeit in the sanitised form of Markbass.
1x15 has moved to 6x10. Looks impressive and scares other band members. Sounds pretty much the same as 1x15.
Bought the bass I'd always wanted (pre EB ray) and am now selling it. Not for the first time. Or the last time.
Got ripped off twice but also met some great BC people (too many to name). Thanks to you all.
