Anyone own both Barefaced Ten series and a Supertwin? Comparisons?

I have a pair of One10 cabs and I love them. They aren't going anywhere.

But I also fancy something a bit different, and the Supertwin appeals.

 

Can anyone who owns both tell me how different the core sound is from the 2 different types of cab?

I used to run two Super Compacts and now i run either a six10 or two10 depending on the situation. the 12 inch cabs have a flat response and what you put in is what you get out. Where as the 10s are Coloured and have a tone to them.

I changed to the 10s becuase when i changed amp to an Ampeg, i wanted that vintage rock sound. i found it harder to get it out of the super compact.

 

personally i found the 12s quite "sterile" which is in no way a bad thing and sort of hifi sound, the 10s more old school

I own an love a Super Compact but reading rave reviews of the Two10 has me gassing for one now as I think it might be more what I'm after in the tone dept so kinda looking the opposite way to yourself 😯
