Hello group!

Hi,

 I’m a new member based in Oxfordshire.

 I’ve technically been playing since about 1977 but had a short break between 1985 and 2017 after which I’ve picked it up again and am trying to learn to play jazz properly. 
 

i have a Yamaha 5 string (fretted) and an Ibanez GWB 35 (Fretless) along  with a Kala U bass and an Aguilar rig. 
 

looking for some good discussion and would also welcome any opportunities to jam/play jazz in the Oxford area if anyone spots an opportunity 😎

Nah it's just a jazz version of a rock and roll middle eight mate.

I had a short break from playing too... of about 25 years!
So I know how that is. Still, I'm enjoying my playing more now than I ever did as a "young-'un"
