joegarcia
I bought this just before Christmas off The Beat on here and it really is a fantastic bass. I have just today had the pots replaced with top quality Dimarzio ones and a push/push pot added (tone pot) to switch between series and parallel wiring like the S1 switch on current US Fenders. This was carried out by top local luthier Tom Waghorn. This is a Crafted in Japan 1975 reissue made in 2002 with 3 bolt neckplate, US pickups and stunning maple fingerboard with blocks and binding. Plays beautifully and sounds fantastic, I'm just not used to new/modern basses and prefer my instruments with a bit of wear. Something more suitable and battered has come up locally and so this is up for sale as long as it remains available. SOLD Can be packed inside a cheap gigbag and case suitable for postage. Not interested in trades unless they are old Jazzes.
