Beedster
...offer to post to Europe. I've just logged on to my ebay listing and have almost 20 questions, almost all from Europe and all very keen to buy. I'm guessing the exchange rate means a £1500 Pre-EB 'ray is a bargain over the pond? Chris Edited December 31, 2008 by Beedster
warwickhunt
Good point and it's worth extending to The USA; I've sold 2 Warwicks (£1000+) to The USA/Canada in the last month. Shipping the first time was £98 but I then tried Transglobal and that was cheaper (a lot cheaper if you don't need big insurance). They have import taxes into the USA but I think a lot of Americans are looking over here for stuff that isn't 'generally' available in The States (your EB/MM may not do as well as say a Status or GB etc.). skankdelvar
The upside of the currency crisis. Now we're all exporters...
Musky
The Pound has fallen about 25% against the Euro in the last 3 months. That's quite a decent discount if you live in the Eurozone - £375 off a £1500 bass.
johnnylager
I flogged me old Aria to a gadgey in Italy. In fact I think the only interest was from overseas...

Musky
It's only just occurred to me that all the bargains we were expecting on ebay might not actually materialise if the pound continues to fall - we'll be facing quite stiff competition from Europe.
