Len_derby
I am the the very proud owner of a bass made by @Andyjr1515. Because he's a close neighbour of mine he has the opportunity to see me play it live. This has made me wonder, what goes through your mind - you builders- when you see one of your creations used? Critical? Proud? Disappointed? I'm interested to hear.
Andyjr1515
Thrilled. This is what they're built for - I love seeing my builds played Great gig today, Neil. I was on a tight time schedule so didn't have chance to catch up after you finished but the Daz Kelly Band just goes from strength to strength. Bass sounded great, too
Len_derby
Cheers Andy, very generous in your praise. I wonder if you, or any other builders, rethink your builds after hearing them in action.
Andyjr1515
It will be interesting to hear what the others feel. For me, I come away reminded to always use Switchcraft jack sockets and to take great care soldering. I can't imagine how it would feel if silence suddenly descended... 2
Jimothey
I’ve had someone play one of my basses I assembled (I say assembled because it was a bitsa) who wasn’t a bass player but he is an awesome guitarist and all I thought was “DAMN WHY CAN’T I PLAY LIKE THAT!!!” Oh and the bass didn’t sound too bad either............😀 Edited September 22, 2019 by Jimothey
