Hi all,

Anyone know if these pick ups are the wrong way round? I read that the raised pole pieces were to combat a weak A string but these are  under the D and G. It's a MIJ 62 reissue from 1991.

Cheers.

That's weird. I had a 1990 MIJ '62 reissue, and I am certain the pole pieces were all flat to the pickup's surface on mine.

When a precision pickup's pole pieces are staggered to compensate for a quiet A string, just the two for the A string are raised normally,
