At the same show, I tried out their Phil Lynott Power Bass - black P with mirror scratchplate.

Nice neck, lightweight bass, lovely growl to it. Full sound, lively feel.

£499 I believe. Had I been I somewhat more flush, the Power Bass (though probably not the Lynott!) would have been the bass that I'd have bought.

That's a bit better than the £11k+ Fender!

Oh no! Jazz bass GAS returns.

It has just returned for me too! ;)
Even though I already have way too many basses, and I've already got two great Jazzes (one fretted, one fretless)
This one is still giving me GAS.... Why? Because it looks stunning! :o

Can't see any further info on these basses online either

Bet they'll adapt one of these and put Mr. Pratt's name next to it. Looks good though.

Already difficult to not push the 'add to basket' button on that!

The dreaded "add to basket" button! So easy to push.... so hard to resist ;)

Add to that, the returns option on long distance selling rules :/

Sounds great, especially that neck pickup. £595 seems a steal. Fortunately, I don't like 38mm nut width necks; phew! 😅

I'm the same with 38mm nuts, and also the description of 'super slim 60's style neck' is off putting for me.

BUT  -   have you SEEN THIS BASS?....

Compare the weights, if you regard that as a factor...having owned BC basses, given the Power Bass a go and also tried Sires before today, I can't help thinking that the BC's will be muuuuch lighter....

do wish they hadn’t done matching headstocks on the maple. Always looks wrong to me.
