Häussel is making terrific pickups and if a pickup is sounding that good on a fretless bass, it will sound the same on a fretted bass.

That said, it looks like Adrian is having a right shoulder capsulitis. He should see a doctor.

That does sound wonderful - though you have to wonder how much of that is down to the combination of a well-made pickup in a well-made guitar!

Very interesting concept though, and I have to say I liked all of the tones they went through on that demo.
