Stunning 1992 Blade Levinson B4 jazz bass,

original and good condition. Well used, some small dents,

but nothing serious. Lovely colour, gold hardware, reversed tuners, ebony fretboard.

I'm sure everybody knows how good these japanese basses are,

and this is no exception.

£750 / €850,-

Japanese?  I have a 5 str version, thought that Blades are Swiss made.

Its a common misunderstanding  Swiss designed only two prototypes were made all others Japanese

Yes, designed by Gary Levinson and produced by Tune in Japan...I have a B3 model and, in my opinion, these are the best Jazz-type basses on the second hand market!! ;-)

I saw Morcheeba a few years ago and the bass player was playing a B2. He had a massive tone!

Well, good to know... after 20 years, haha!  I've tried a couple of basses in two decades, but there was no any which could replace mine...  except one..

Never too old to learn  Yeah, Blades are superb basses. I own 2 of them, my other is not going anywhere.

Thanks! Weight is 4.4 kg. Nut width is 38 mm.

I almost bought a purple one in early 90s but was beaten to it, nice bass

My other Blade is a purple one.

Just found out this is a B4, not an B2. (different controls)

Also on request some additional pictures of the control cavity and serial number.

I bought an amp from the fella who was the UK Importer for Blade.

Very good bass player and he spoke very highly of them. I've been tempted ever since but fortunately my Overwater covers my Jazz requirements.

Thanks! My other Blade jazz is enough for my jazzy ambitions. I'm more a Precision and Stingray type of guy anyway.
