Stompbox - the percusive one...

Hey all - happy new years by the way!

Just a quick question.

I am thinking about getting a 'Stompbox'

Has anyone used one? and if so am I right in thinking I can just put this into my aux in on the rear of my Genz Benz Shuttle 3 or do I need stright instrument in?

I have a friend who uses one of the [url="http://www.porchboard.com/"]PorchBoard[/url] models live. I can't see why you couldn't plug it into the aux socket on your Shuttle. However, it doesn't have a level control, so balancing the sound might be a little tricky. Might be best to use some sort of EQ pedal to give you a volume control and allow you to tweak the sound a little. Probably best to go for a model designed for the bass rather than a guitar one, such as:
