I didn't notice - I was too busy trying to pull focus - but I suspect this was so he could hear the crowd for the call and response which was planned from the word go.

 

Not defending him - but It wasn't loud on stage - it was pretty massive and nothing was cranked.

Recently at the Herdsman in Hereford... Just mobile phone footage and sound but you can actually hear me (for a change, though some might prefer not to) with headphones or decent speakers... I'm not Mr Clanky, that's Raph!

We've just done a YouTube gig, was completely out of our elements 😂 because of room mic bleeds all we had was a couple of monitors for vocals which they might as well of have not been there,could not hear vocals at all! So we all pretty much winged it as you can tell 😂 . Was still fun
