barks
This is my 4th Sadowsky and possibly the nicest I've had. I still have the NYC sunburst one I bought used a couple of years ago and this one may be even better in terms of getting the sound I have in my head. I previously also had two metros too. One I bought new and the other used. I think the NYC ones are definitely a step up from the Metros. This one is nice and light and the neck feels just fabulous. I went for single coils and 70s spacing with a drop D tuner. Nice case too - Sadowsky Portabag. There is also something really nice about having one of the best manufacturers in the world build a bass specially for me. I was lucky enough to visit New York and try a few different Sadowskys when I was deciding what to spec to go for. The 9 month wait was a drag though! It must be good as I have considered selling everything else recently and just keeping this one!
Oh my that's lovely, shame they still don't do the metro with just the single P pickup any more, being a traditionalist that is what Im looking out for, so if you have one PM me!
