DJpullchord Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Anyone else get this? Any way of dealing with it? Cheers x Quote
hooky_lowdown Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Quote
DJpullchord Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Good point. I’ll take some anti histothingies and see what happens. Playing this evening and would benefit from normal sized hands and fingers. Quote
hooky_lowdown Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I lived in London for 15 years, never had any hand issues. I live near the coast now and almost every time i go for a walk along the coast or on the beach my hands swell up, so could be an environmental reaction - you don't need to touch something to get a reaction. casapete Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Just occasionally after a long hard gig, my right hand (plucking one) swells up a little. Usually subsides after an hour or so, and I find running cold water over it helps this. Quote
Mastodon2 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I think you should probably see your GP rather than taking medical advice on an internet forum. Hand problems can escalate and end up calling time on your playing career if left unchecked. 2 Quote
