gonna attach a value of £550 plus postage for the $$ for members of forum. Comes with Hiscox case. You will probably notice it on leftybass.com for more than that but that so I can get the Euro value hopefully!

black left handed stingray 4,[attachment=24987:2.jpg] 3eq 94 or 95, been gigged so one ding and a few scratches in good nick, complete with musicman case, part ex for a Fender P bass

What is your asking price for the Stingray, and would you be willing to ship to the Netherlands? Also, do you have some more detailed pictures of the ding and scratches you're describing? Many thanks in advance!

asking price is £750, the scratches are so light I can't show them in a photo but they occurred when I rather stupidly played with my metal strapped watch on, and I use a pick, so they are in the area you can see on the photo. The ding is on top of the body
Postage to the Netherlands is £80 to Amsterdam, maybe more to another place
Send me a PM if you want to take it further

I may, this looks tempting. For me this is THE colour combination for a Stingray: black on black with a maple fingerboard (I feel every Stingray should have a maple board). Vintage white with a black pickguard and maple board comes as a close second.

I'll give it some consideration. Thanks!

Looks lovely!
Whats the serial number (on the bridge)? We should be able to age it from that.
The maple neck does look lovely with those big fat markers. Definitely a lush bass.

Hi guys,

I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the site, but there's a good sale at Bass Central at the moment, and they will ship internationally. I'm told their sale prices are negotiable, and they've got a large selection of lefties in:

Some nice basses there.
Unfortunately Ernie Ball won't allow new MM basses to be shipped directly outside the US as I enquired a year back when the £ was worth a lot more.

No, they're mostly mid-high end, but the prices are good :)

In my humble opinion, I reckon that must be newer than a 94/95.... :)
Mine is an August 1996 and is serial 0000116

Very lush, very nice - I wish I needed a second Stingray!!

Know someone who's looking to sell an 80s Fender Precision Standard - sunburst, maple neck and touchboard, white guard and pickup covers, chrome hardware. Better than average condition for it's age (circa '84). Figure around £750 (tbc).
