Biggsy
I don't know a lot about Schecters, but this seems a nice looking bass for not a lot of money. Shipping to UK seems reasonable too. leftybassman392
Hey guys. As some of you have already noticed, I'm thinking of putting my 1984 Wal Custom 4-string lefty up for sale. I have a thread running in the 'basses for sale' forum. Put lots of detail into that posting so if nobody minds I'd rather not repeat myself here. Apologies if this confuses anybody. No photos ready at the time of writing, but should appear over the next day or two. I'll put them into the other thread and most likely dup them here. I'm happy for this to take as long as it takes (within reason) - I'm not doing it to generate funds. Willing to explore options and happy to consider trades for something of broadly similar quality. I think you need to be seeing a much greater saving for it to be truly worthwhile. If they ship in a hardcase (pretty much essential) then you'd be talking around £100 for shipping, then you have import duty which would be circa 20% of total value. So... back of envelope calculation: Bass = $275, which when paid for by credit card with crappy fx rate = £200. Shipping = £100 Customs = 20% of insurance value, which should include shipping cost, = £60 Total = £360 give or take for a factory blemished Schecter. UK New Price = £400, with room to haggle. I think there's better deals to be had on ebay.com

LeftyJ
Hey, isn't that Yves Carbonne's massive Jerzy Drozd Legend XII 12-string? Very impressive workmanship, but definitely not my cup of tea. 5 strings are as far as I will go on a bass (and 7 on a guitar).

Biggsy
Hi guys, Lefty Rick on eBay in a rare colour. Everything about it looks authentic apart from the fingerboard to me, I don't know if Rick ever did black boards with dot inlays.. also the pickups have been replaced, but it's got a decent starting price: '74 lefty Burgundyglo Rick' 4001

leftybassman392
For the benefit of those who've been in touch about the Lefty Wal Custom, it's now with The Bass Gallery in Camden. If you fancy a go, pop over - might be best to give them a ring first just to make sure it's available for you to play. More details in the main 'Basses for sale' area. If you do get to play it, let me know what you think.

Dread Bass
Balls. I just fitted a just-a-nut three to my six string corvette and I have had to put it on backwards to make it work on my bass. Seems to be ok tho. Edit there clearly is a lefty version on the warwick site that will teach me to buy something without paying attention. futzi
Hi folks, I´m Thilo from Germany and I want to sell my Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass, because I don´t use it and I need money. I´ve upgraded it to get a classic, more characteristic bass tone: - Electronics: Audere JZ3D Deluxe Bass Preamp, Bass/Mids/Treble/Tone/Z-Mode Switch If you don´t know it, read more about it here: http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3D.htm - Pickups: Lindy Fralin Jazz Bass Pickups If you don´t know them read reviews on harmony-central.com, really one of the best Jazz bass Pickups around. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...ss+Pickups/10/1 The bass is in great condition. 10 out of 10. Really, no dings or dongs. I can send you some more pictures, if you want. I´m more a P-Bass Player, so it wasn´t often in use. I bought it about nine month ago, never on a gig, just at home. Fender Case, Lether strap, straplocks and all the stuff that was with it, when I bought it is included. I bought it for 1450 Euro, Fralin Pickups costs 200 Euro, Audere Preamp came from USA and with taxes it cost me also about 200 Euro. That´s all about 1580 pounds. It´s in great condition, like new, so I won´t like to let it go for less than 1150 pounds. Mail me if you are interested or want more pictures. cheers, Thilo
