deksawyer Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I might regret this, but I think I want to trade my Wal for a high end 5 string, especially another Wal. It's a 1980 Custom with Niangon front & back. It's not for sale, trade only. cheers D.

LeftyJ Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 That is the most exquisite looking MK1 I've ever seen, with all these layers of veneer, that beautiful top and rear wood and the centerline down the top! Wow. I have nothing to offer, unfortunately, but man, what a bass!
cycrowave Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010
That is the most exquisite looking MK1 I've ever seen, with all these layers of veneer, that beautiful top and rear wood and the centerline down the top! whynot Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I could be interested in buying back the WAL if ever for sale. Many a good memory associated with that bass.

Probably unlikely to happen, but you never know. But there's a few people interested if I want to sell.... Cheers D.
patch006 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) Hi all lefties, USA Jazz Deluxe 2008, great condition pretty much unused. Has a couple of marks on the body (see pics) £800 offers! NO LONGER AVAILABLE, TRADED Edited November 5, 2010 by patch006
leftybassman392 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Slightly OT here I know, but I'm downsizing my instrument collection and have MIJ '57 reissue Strat for sale. Here's the thread:- LH MIJ Strat
whynot Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Not looking to sell my Lefty Fender Jazz Deluxe, but could be interested in a straight swap for a Musicman Sterling. Montego Black model with original case. Includes a second pickguard (black).
josh3184 Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 Hi guys. Pains to to do this but I may have to sell my 1979 Pre-EB Ray. Its in really good condition, only a few dings and none of them major. The E tuner was replaced a while ago with a d-tuner but apart from that it's all original- even has the dying remains of the bridge mutes! I was wondering if any of you could help me in thinking of a price? Josh
josh3184 Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 (edited)
£1200-£1300
Thanks man! Hmm I thought it might be worth a tad more but that was close to my valuation. I was thinking more around £1400, especially considering the rarity of lefties. Here's a few pics: EDIT: No longer for sale, see below. Possible trades for amplification/ light weight cabs.
Could trade the Stingray against a virtually unused Markbass Classic 104 - sounds like an SVT but weighs way less - check out www.markbass.it for spec. Retail new is about £850 and this one is as new. Let me know - would need to agree where to swap over.
leftybassman392 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Slightly OT here I know, but I have a MIJ '57 Reissue Stratocaster for sale in the 'other musically related stuff' forum:- 57 RI LH Strat here...
Bassman Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I think you will be happy. But the price is high WAL mark2 5strings
whynot Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Loved the early WAL's but could never take to the 5 string version, even though I'm mostly a 5 string player. Just never felt right to me. Was this the one that was floating around for near 1k a couple of years back ?
