Hi Bassman! I believe the rule round here is that there must be a price, if only an estimate :)

Nice basses!

Following up the '77 Jazz, next in line is my Roscoe LG3000 lined fretless 4.

Made in the 1990's (not exactly sure when but the guy I bought it off in the USA thinks maybe '93 or '94).

The bridge is new (but is a direct replacement for the somewhat knackered original - it's in the case if you really want it). I think it was originally fretted, but the conversion has been very professionally done and is excellent - including the epoxy finish. Apart from some slightly crackly pots there's very little needs doing to it, but I'll get TBG to give it a once-over anyway.

There's a slight blemish in the finish on the bottom horn, plus a few little usage dinks here & there. Apart from that I'd say it's wearing it's age pretty well. It's in it's original case.

Here's some preliminary shots (sorry about the quality - I'll get some better ones up tomorrow).

I've had a chat with Alex at The Bass Gallery, and he thinks he would want to put it up in the shop at around £1300.

Anybody want to offer me somewhere near £1000? Too much? Make me a (sensible) offer and we'll talk.

No trades please guys.

Hello Dave! Long time no see!

How's the Wal?

The Jazz is currently at the Bass Gallery getting a bit of work done - nothing major, just a bit of a fret stone and a few adjustments to the pickups.

The Roscoe is a lovely instrument - needs a bit of switch cleaner in the pots, but that's about it. I've got it strung with 40 flats (probably a bit thin for your taste). Breaks my heart to sell it really, but now that I don't do performance any more I can't justify keeping 'em all.

The Sei will probably go to the grave with me - if that ever goes, that really will be the end.

Tell you what, how about the Jazz and the Roscoe for £2500 or so? Seeing as it's you I'd probably do it for a bit less if you twist my arm. :)

Come to think of it, I live in Sutton Coldfield now, and have plenty of spare time on my hands. Next time you're around you might want to pop over and try out the Roscoe for yourself.

As it happens I'm also toying with the idea of selling one of my Regenerates. Unfortunately nobody's really heard of them over here and it's something you really need to play to appreciate.

Let me know what you think,

Andy

Hey bass guys

I have a Warwick corvette active bass for sale. I believe its ash coloured. I don't use computers so no idea how to put up pictures. Sorry bout that. I'm in Leeds but presume posting basses isnt too hard.

I just read that its polite to put an estimate so £600?

It's in good condition by the way

Cheers

Great bass but unfortunately I don't have the time, knowledge or money to get everything sorted out on it. I haven't used it for a while and it makes more sense that someone else should be using it instead of it gathering dust. I haven't actually managed to find a bass online with the same spec as mine but they retail at about £1200 from my understanding, but due to it being second hand and needs some work doing, I'm looking for about £600- make me an offer. If that's true then it'll be doubly annoying for Deezbar, who I happen to know is one of the good guys on this forum.

That's what I think too. Otherwise you would have had far more bidders at a starting price of 700! That was an incredible deal.
