TrioRec Posted October 6, 2019 Share Posted October 6, 2019 (edited) OVERWATER SERIES II CLASSIC circa '91 on great condition custom made by Chris May with EMG P/J soap bar pickups. I'm an avid Overwater 36" scale user and bought this to try a 34". Great bass but can't along with shorter scale length so here 'tis again The electronics have been uprated to a new 18v EMG BTC System pre-amp with Volume, Balance and Bass and Treble on a concentric pot. (Original electronics with Volume/Tone/Pickup Selector switch included in sale). The bridge pickup was found to be dying after I purchased it and has been renewed and all electronics work flawlessly. A GREAT sounding instrument and super comfortable to play, perfectly set up. Schaller tuners and strap lock pins. Very slight pitting in finish on lower bout (pictured) but hardly noticeable, and the backplate and battery cover aren't original and are slightly misfitting but does not detract from a lovely bass. Servicable hard case included. Collection preferred but shipping (within the UK) by UPS insured possible at buyers expense. Previous Basschat post from Chris regarding this bass attached. Order of play: balance mid with a slight bass boost, balance mid with eq flat, bridge pickup with eq flat, neck pickup with eq flat, balance mid with slight bass boost again. 24bit/48hz file.
