barneyg42 Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) I got my Jaydee fretless a while back and it came in a old Ritter gig bag which it barely fits in.I've mailed a few people on Ebay selling cases and gigbags for the length and it seems that it's about an inch too long for most of them! I've just got an SX Jazz5 which can go in the Ritter but can anyone point me in the direction of a company that would do a case/gigbag that me Jaydee would fit in. (at a reasonable price of course). Tis 47inches long BTW and most of the cases that have been quoted have been this internally which makes it a right queeze! Just an extra inch (fnar) would help! BassBod Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Mine used to fit in a standard Hiscox - not the long version (but that would have a bit of room to spare). Not cheap, but very good protection. I also had a Levy's canvas type bag that was a good fit ( the one the Gallery show on their site for £40? but I didn't pay anything like that much..) Quote
silverfoxnik Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I had a similar problem when I has a KSD 5 string which was quite a bit longer than a usual 35" scale bass. But it did fit in a Tribal Planet case that I bought, so maybe that might work for you? Quote

Tribal Planet went bust a while ago, I was trying to buy one of their bags. Don't know if they have started up again. Cheers Martin Quote

Does look a good option if I can source something. Quote
johnnylager Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Theses Hiscox numbers will eat anything. Far too big for my Spector though! Quote
