ped Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Looks a lot like the Aria that famous geezer plays. Looks nice, I think. Quote
7string Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Nice to see Fender being brave for a change. I expect that Steve Bailey's fretless is going to be very expensive and (as usual for USA Fenders) way overpriced. Quote
dub_junkie Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 the Strat jack socket kills the looks for me.shame as its otherwise quite nice Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I'd play that. Bring on the Squier £200 version. Quote
Buzz Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Kudos for Fender, isn't that their first 6 string bass (not counting the baritone guitar) ? Quote
Hamster Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I think the 3 string bass would be more a break from the norm! Quote

Much better than the rubbish telecaster cup things, more accessible than an edge mount and it points the right way to go through the strap. Quote

7string Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I hate to think how much they charged for that. Quote

Golchen Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Whaaa???? ................................. never thought I'd see that from Fender! Quote

It's shorter than a usual Fender, but I don't think it counts as a Baritone guit. Roy Babbington of Soft Machine played one for years.... Quote
agoulding Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I WANT. shame its 2,200. F*ck that. *Awaits squire version* Quote
WHUFC BASS Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Price is ridiculous. You could get a lot better for that price, even a custom job with select woods. You're just paying for the name on that thing as is the case with most of the stuff Gibson do nowadays. Has nobody told Fender there's a recession on. Quote

Which is semi awesome. Quote

funkypenguin Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 bloody oath! thats a ludicrous amount of money for a jazz bass! and i thought the 4 string models were overpriced! Quote
