1989 vintage, headstock once cracked, professional luthier repaired some fifteen years ago - never been a problem, so smoothly finished that you cannot feel the repair at all.

But, as you can see from the headstock pic, the repair itself is visible, indicating the quality of the finishing work. It's has no impact on tone or playability as far as I can determine.

Aw shoot, that was meant to be balconette. Maybe it's a Freudian slip and it's time to quit being vegy. :)
How did that get through the spell checker though? What the feck is a baconette? A small apartment for pigs?
