Richard R
I had pencilled this in, now ruling it out as September is getting busy. See some of you at the Milan* bash on the 4th 👍 Edited August 28, 2021 by Richard R * autocorrected from "Midlands", but I'll leave it as an optimistic idea for 2022.
scrumpymike
On a non-Bash-related subject, does anyone know of a good, reliable drummer free to join our classic-rock covers band Silverback currently gigging 1-2 times a month in the Bristol-Exeter area? Our current drummer has been struggling with a shoulder injury for some time and regrettably it looks like it's completely beggered now. He battled his way through last night's gig and decided that was enough.

We've been struggling for nearly 3 years now, with deps, drummers that join the band and end up not up to it, drummers that don't have the time to practice/gig, ads everywhere... Good drummers are hard to find!

scrumpymike
Can we just have an update on who's bringing what for the raffle? I'll be putting in: a 'Bash yer bass' T-shirt; a Tony Butler solo album CD; a tidy Ibanez gig bag (standard-scale); and a gift pack of local Somerset produce. Not long now 😊

MoJoKe
I was so looking forward to seeing everyone (and I had a raft of Markbass goodies ready to show you, including the new Gloxy bass, which will be in sale in the UK from November for circa £540...! I can post pics if youd like to see it!), but sadly I have to work at The Photography Show at the NEC.. 😫 Hope you all have a smashin time! At the Midlands one we sort of rolled up with odds and sods (mainly chocolate as it was all short notice) and fortunately Jamie found some tickets left over from 2½ years ago. 😅 Have a great time guys and gals.
