Prosebass
Amazingly I am down to my last black Jazz Edited March 3, 2009 by Prosebass
paul h
You are now my primary source of GAS. Although I don't like humbuckers at all, I love the innovations you come up with. I have often thought of having a three single coil jazz with a five way selector switch and if I do well at poker next year I think you will be the man to see about it! Good work. Paul. Alternatively a full active 3 band EQ but I'm not a fan of basses full of knobs and it would have 5 if it was active ! Or just 2 volume and 1 tone ....not sure yet. paul h
How about a mini toggle for each pick up and a volume?

Cheers Paul we sorted that quickly between us.... Bass by committee ...I'll call it the British Leyland. Will post the progress pictures tonight. Mikey R
Looks like fun If those are all identical pickups, then they wont be humbucking - Im guessing this wont be a problem for you tho? Subscribed!
Matty
Awesome. Could you build one of these with a maple neck, with block inlays?
budget bassist
Looking cool Only things i'd change would be the hardware from black to chrome and i'd have used 3 or 5 ply pickguard material. I'd like to hear it when it's finished!

I don't like chrome ! it seems very bland to me lately
budget bassist
ahh yeah so you said, it looks very stealth. Personally i've never really liked black hardware, chrome just looks really clean and crisp to me, but that's just me.

Al Heeley
Well it looks like a great build - and nicely planneed out. Sure its not a phase problem with one of your multipups?
KennysFord
Nice work Paul. I think the Stealth look is killer, maybe the exposed pole pieces would spoil the look perhaps ??? Just a thought.
Kev
i agree with having exposed pieces, just looks a little too smooth n black at the moment

ped
Looks great (both versions). I like your approach to building, trial and error and a spirit for adventure. I wish I had the skills to play around like that, too. Cheers ped
Jase
Monster humbucker, I'd love one of those in my Jazz, never been a fan of the neck pick up....use mine mainly for a thumb rest.
