EliasMooseblaster
Godammit AMT, I literally just bought a preamp pedal a couple of weeks ago! Bestil my pulsating GAS...
fretmeister
I have a couple of AMT guitar preamp pedals and they are superb, and in one case - the Legend R2 Dual Recto model - sounds better than the real amp it was based on! I'm quite tempted by this.
Al Krow
Like the concept and could be a neat successor to the DHA valve preamps. But seems to be geared at 6 string guitars - any idea how it will perform with bass; in particular preserving low end? Couldn't see a clean blend on it. dannybuoy
It is a bass preamp - clue is in the name! "AMT Bricks O-Bass - the basis of this bass preamp included the nature of sound is such a legendary bass amp as Orange AD200 mark3." They could do with a copy of Grammarly though! ahpook
Looks cool, but did nobody look at the design and mention that they might need a bigger box ?

My Q on preserving low end stands, though, particularly with lack of clean blend.
dannybuoy
The bass amp it's modelled upon doesn't have a clean blend either. But yes, I'd always prefer one! There's an Alembic model too: https://amt-sales.com/preamps/bricks-preamps/a-bass/

My thoughts too, it looks a bit like a dog-log on the front doorstep to me.
paul_5
and people were complaining at how bad DHA kit looked! At least Dave started with the right sized box.
danbowskill
Be awesome.... If it didn't have a ad200 eq on it 😅
ikay
Would be interested to hear more about the Bricks-O or Bricks-A, has anyone tried one yet?
dudewheresmybass
I get the idea of this series. nice plan. Small form factor leading to an analog multifx board. I shall keep an eye on these 😉
