Hi I’m looking for something a little bit different but still reliable on a budget. I’m looking for something full scale and maybe Japanese. I’m on a tight budget an I’m sort of stuck and any advice would be very much appreciated,

thanks,

Harry

Go G&L used Tribute L2000. Different enough and sounds/plays awesome for a budget bass.

Or for Japenese with a bigger budget, FGN basses.

Something pointy or a bit curvy?

What sort of noise are you hoping to get out of it, what music are you playing?

What's your max spend?

My max spend is about £400 and I’m looking for something good for indie/alternative rock. I’ve just been looking and seen some Rickenbacker 4005 copies around, has anyone had any experience with any?

What about one of those Aria Cardinals, I think thats what they were called? Quite rare but the last one I seen was £350.

In a similar vein, Westbury Track 2?

MIJ (Matsumoku) approx 1980, DiMarzio Model P, 34" scale. A bit knocked about, but in decent playing order.

Not getting played basically because I never manage to coax a tone I like out of a single P!

Different, but medium scale is the Retrovibe LPJ style.

Love mine in burst finish

around £245 on eBay . Or you can go direct to website.
