Hi guys,
I've been a regular on the Lowdown forum for years where I'm well known and Lenny B told me about this site. I am still a bit lost by the number of different boards but I'll spend some time looking around before I put my foot in it!

I've played for 20 plus years. I play in a number of projects in a freelance capacity mostly. Currently I'm playing jazz, fusion, reggae, funk, soul and Balkan/Greek/Turkish/Klezmer music live regularly.

My main is a Wal Custom fretless and I also use a Crafter Fretless ABG and a range of borrowed basses. Everthing is strung with TI jazz flats.

I need gear which gives me a clean, little-coloured sound and is extremely lightweight so I use an Epifani UL112 and an Acoustic Image Focus amp - total weight 34lbs!

I don't actually look through the different forums much, I just click on 'view new posts' to see what's been going on, you'll get quite a feel in no time

(PS - I do have to say though, that this site has cost me more money than the US one though - easier to buy!)

Thanks guys! I am trying to check it out in my lunch-hour but when I go to the forum page I get some error message about pre-catching and pre-fetching not being allowed. Must be the filter at work.
