McGregor 1980's Bassman

I have a McGregor Bassman 200Watt combo but can find no information online about it.

I have had it for a few years and it origionally belonged to a local jazz player who used it all around the UK

Anyone got any info on it or the company and also how much would it sell for as it is in very good condition

My very first "proper" bass head was a Mac 200w with a HH 2x15" cab and as I remember it sounded sh*te.

If you still have it, this is Tony Reeves from MTR Ltd, distributors of (among other things) McGregor Amplification. This British company is still going strong (mcgregoramps.co.uk), I have one of these too as a spare, they really were very good. They don't make guitar or bass amps any more. It's value is, as always, what someone will pay for it. www.mtraudio.com
