thedontcarebear Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 Don't need all 3 of them, would rather trade for a jazz leaving me with 2 jazz and 2 precision.
thedontcarebear Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) Just remembered I still have this sitting in a case (not included) along with all the others I don't use. Will sell for £299 plus shipping, collection from Peterborough is fine though. Edited September 19, 2007 by thedontcarebear
King Tut Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Any idea what the body is made of - any chance of a close up?
thedontcarebear Posted September 19, 2007 Author Posted September 19, 2007 You make a fine choice when selecting duvet covers then! And I don't know what they were made of, there is a pretty good shot of the back up there, can anyone tell from that?
thedontcarebear Posted September 19, 2007 Author Posted September 19, 2007 Reduced to £289 + shipping/collection.......
thedontcarebear Posted September 20, 2007 Author Posted September 20, 2007 After a Little Mark II, if anyone wants to do some trading.

john_the_bass Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 where did you get the pickguard? I'm still after one.
thedontcarebear Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 Highly strung in the end along with some screws as they said I could send it back for a refund if it didn't fit.
thedontcarebear Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 Last bump before I give up hope of selling it here, and probably go with ebay sometime soon, as much as I like it now I've restrung it etc, I know I won't play a p bass live, and have tonnes of other basses.

Groove65 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007

gotta ask... why wouldnt you play a p-bass live ? is this a heavy chunk o' wood then ? ive got a Jazz Deluxe 4 string that i might trade (its on the bay right now but i can email you some pics) but im after something sub-9lbs in weight as i knackered my shoulder and i cant take a heavyweight bass for long stood up
thedontcarebear Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 Na, I don't care about weight, I have an ACG on the way which is gonna weigh a tonne (wenge and ebony body)! It's just P Basses aren't really my thing, my first bass was a p bass, and up til last weekend I had 3 of them as they are cool, but I just don't like slapping on them etc, it feels wrong (although many will disagree). It's a lot lighter then the JV P I had, but that had a badass on it, so not sure if that is why it was heavy. I can try weighing it on some normal scales and see if that works, but if it does I am not sure how accurate it would be.
thedontcarebear Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 4kg on the bathroom scales, which according to google is 8.81849049 pounds
thedontcarebear Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 Sold to Mr Pablo pending the usual.
