Warwick Streamer Stage 1 - 5 String - Broadneck

£1500 Collected.

Another one I’ve thought long and hard about, however I’m gravitating to different basses in the band, and this has stayed in the case unplayed for too long now.

This is the broadneck option which gives a wider neck and string spacing than the narrower Warwick 5 String.  The spacing on this is closer to the string spacing of a 4 string.

A few minor dings and dents here and there – they were difficult to photograph but I can try and take further photos if required.

All works as it should – having had a try out with different strings including TI flats I know the truss rod works fine.
A set up to meet personal preference is obviously pretty easy to achieve given the adjustability of the bridge and nut on Warwicks.

Is this a factory finish? Or has it been done at a later point? It looks great!

Im almost certain its a factory finish, feeding the serial number into the Warwick database says.

Streamer Stage I, 5-string
Blue Highpolish finish
Flamed Maple A body
Flamed Maple neck
Chrome hardware

Made in Germany

I note it says colour blue though.

Also, the serial number in this photo looks to be over the finish, which also strongly suggests a factory finish.

Why do they use flamed maple under a opaque finish?

Because they are Warwick!

I have a 1990 Stage 1 broadneck with Bartolinis and adore the neck and spacing!

What's the profile like on this? Mine is quite a thin D profile

Yes - I'd describe it as a Slim D profile too.

very noice! great colour, whitey not blue or bluey not white? can't decide? GLWTS.

Yes - it's one of those colours that doesn't photograph or display correctly on a computer or phone screen.

Id say the closest to the finish is the photo of the back of the bass.

It's a sort of cyan colour - somewhere in the range between green and blue, (that being sky blue not royal blue).
