If anyone out there has a set , could they post a few measurements or photos alongside a ruler, as I don't think they would be impossible to make.

Excellent! Now to find some suitable stainless shim.

I'm assuming that being American they will be imperial so ~19mm=3/4" ~50mm=2" and ~9mm = 3/8".

There are plenty of of ones for the 62 jazz bass re-issue taht have come up on reverb etc. over the years, but I can't find any current ones.

The annoying thing is I sold a 62 ri a few weeks back and there was a set in the case,never used.I have  an original set I took off in the case but unfortunately I have to keep them with the bass

I have this 'orrible feeling that I'll end up making then and not using them...

It's great fun stuffing foam in the bridge cover and playing ploppy jazz-ish lines though.
