Beedster
can you get the action low on these? Its quite high on my P, otherwise buzzing sets in.
Mate I'm assuming that putting these on your Precision after TIs has increased the relief in your neck? A bit of work on the truss rod and the saddles should see the action back to where you had it with the TIs. I spent several weeks getting the action on my Deep Talkers just right and I guess that because they're at such high tension they might behave differently to other strings in relation to fret buzz (some of the tech heads on here will clarify). I never had any problems getting them to the same action as other strings. Good luck mate C PS I'm moving house soon and am going to have a nightmare with the 6x10, it's a lovely house but there will not be room for the cab downstairs (until I sweeten up TFMB) and the stairs are the steepest and narrowest I've ever seen. In fact, the stairs are only just wide ennough for the cab alone, which presents problems with where to put my hands when carrying it

OldGit
Hummmmmm Hum sounds like a fair amount of tweak will be required to put my set on. Think I'm going to have to get a cheapo P4 for the flats I like the sound of my current P4 with twangy's on and the other's a 5 string ... lushuk
They're the only strings to have on a Precision
Been think of giving these flats a try for a while how do you think they would sound in a rock cover band situation? Thanks Eddy Edited January 18, 2009 by lushuk
