I'm assuming that putting these on your Precision after TIs has increased the relief in your neck? A bit of work on the truss rod and the saddles should see the action back to where you had it with the TIs. I spent several weeks getting the action on my Deep Talkers just right and I guess that because they're at such high tension they might behave differently to other strings in relation to fret buzz (some of the tech heads on here will clarify). I never had any problems getting them to the same action as other strings.

PS I'm moving house soon and am going to have a nightmare with the 6x10, it's a lovely house but there will not be room for the cab downstairs (until I sweeten up TFMB) and the stairs are the steepest and narrowest I've ever seen. In fact, the stairs are only just wide ennough for the cab alone, which presents problems with where to put my hands when carrying it

Huh, surely your choice of house should have been determined by your bass gear, not the other way round?
