tgm0
Does anyone have any info on a Phat Jaco II Bass?
AndyTravis
Nope. Never seen one before. looks generic, Chinese/Indonesian made and probably quite low cost.

nick
Sorry, it looks like Stevie Wonder's routed the pickup cavity with a bolster chisel on this 'Phat Jaco' humbucker version https://reverb.com/item/22325043-custom-fretless-jazz-bass-phat-jaco-two-hum-buckers

Maybe Mark Phillip's stateside counterpart? Edited November 9, 2019 by nick
AndyTravis
I actually had a look around the site to see if it was him:
visog
After looking at the sources cited... I can't tell if it's dodgy or a genuine tribute. The fact that it's fretted and has shiny pick-up covers doesn't help. So I'll sound in with the rather obvious advice that if you're considering buying one, try to hear and play it first. I don't think much of the bass (there can't be much cash in it after these guys buy it, modify it and then sell it on). However, this picture really made me laugh, good show!
paul_5
Is this affiliated with ‘MDP’ by any chance?

The logo on this one's a sticker or transfer someone's obviously printed at home. He would've just scribbled on the headstock with a biro.
