I had a B9 for a short while. I really wanted to like it but it didn’t really work out for me so I sold it on. I think my main issues were that it didn’t track reliably and would occasionally glitch. This was probably due to my sloppy technique or it might have had something to do with using a mustang with flatwounds.

I’ve been using both on my board since hey released them. 

With my bc riches, thunderbird and p basses, I find the only thing that trips them up is fast playing. Longer sustained notes are king, especially lower on the neck, but I can get some great purple esque Hammond stuff working on the d and g strings without any issues
