Dunlop Flats

Has anyone tried these? Thinking of switching over from GHS Precision flats. Could anyone compare the two?

I've just put Dunlop Flats on my P bass. Very even tone across strings, no dodgy E string. They are quite bright so you need to knock the tone knob down. So far so good.

I have a set of the Fender flatwounds on my fretless Spectorcore - very reasonably priced and seem to do the job more than adequately.

Hope that doesn't throw a spanner in the works of your thinking.

Dunlop's from Bass Direct are pretty good value, expensive from other sellers.

I have tried the Fender flats and they were really stiff in my opinion!

I like the Dunlop flats on my Precision. Agree about them being quite bright. They're also low tension compared to Chromes, the only other flats I've tried.

I have tried Chromes and they were very close to what I was looking for but not quite.
