Just came across these guys:

JPF Amplification is a guitar, bass amp and effects pedal repair company based in Denmark Street, London.

11 Denmark St, London
WC2H 8LS

Tel: 07706 712 029

Email: [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Saturday 11.00 am – 7.00 pm

I spoke to a chap called Frank just now; gonna try them to see if they can get my poorly Tech 21 Red Ripper back to health. They will charge £24 plus parts if they can repair and nothing if they can't.

Worth asking Tom at Cog to see what he’d charge.

Weird thing is that my Tech21 Red Ripper seems to have made a miraculous return to full health.  Probably 'cos it shares a human fear of going to the dentist...😁

Been advised by fellow BC'ers that its likely to have been a bit of dust in the works and best thing is to give the circuit a bit of an air clean with some canned air. I'll give that a try if it has a mopey day again.

Price is very good IMHO - parts usually won't cost much if it's something replaceable like a pot/jack/capacitor.

Modern compact pedals are such a pain to disassemble/reassemble, I'd charge more if it were me!

Hmm might give them a shout.. The direct signal of my OC2 doesn't work anymore and I've got an MXR analog chorus which just stopped working one day and seems to cause any power supplies to cut out when it's plugged in, so not sure what the issue is.
